Superior Room - These large spacious rooms at Ballynahinch Castle Hotel Galway are situated in a riverside wing and are designed very much in keeping with the house. Ample seating space, dressing rooms and panoramic views combine to make these hotel rooms very comfortable for longer stays. These hotel rooms can also accommodate a further full size single bed.
Luxury Rooms - In a beautiful 12 room wing with glorious views across river, garden and woodlands these generous hotel rooms are finished to a superb standard. Walk through dressing rooms, separate bath and shower, comfortable and spacious seating areas and dedicated lounges conspire to keep you in your hotel room longer. Those on the ground floor have access to the riverside gardens through French doors.
Riverside Suites - Occupying the entire width of the luxury wing these three hotel suites continue to reflect the high standards of the luxury rooms at Ballynahinch Castle. They have panoramic views for the lounge overlooking the river and woodland while the cosy bedroom with queen-size bed has views to the walled garden and tennis court.

Every morning the fishery manager Simon, and the walking guide Noel are available in the pub at 9.30am for a coffee and a chat. Weather you have already booked and activity, want to do so or are simply seeking advice; they will ensure that your day gets off to a great start.
Ballynahinch Castle is unique in that it is the spiritual heart of the magical region known as Connemara, Galway. Situated as it is at the foot of the majestic 12 Bens Mountain range, on the shores of the principal artery, the Owenmore River and 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean every attraction in this region is within easy reach.
If you want to leave the estate in search of activities or attractions then there are a multitude of choices all of which can be arranged by the hotel's team or they will happily plot a route for you. Connemara championship golf links course is just down the road overlooking the sea, and within a 1 hour drive of the hotel there are a further 5 golf courses to choose from. The angler who wishes to try other water than Ballynahinch Castle has the mighty Corrib Lakes half an hour away and a further 5 game fisheries to choose from.
The fishing villages offer activities on the sea for cruising or angling, and a trip to the Aran Islands and Inis Bofin is always recommended. For those in search of a little shopping, the village of Roundstone, the Market Town of Clifden and the larger town of Westport all make great days out. The National Park, the world famous Kylemore Abbey, and a number of stables sporting the renowned Connemara Pony are all just nearby making Ballynahinch Castle Connemara the perfect location for Short Breaks.
Throughout the year there are loads of different quirky festivals to delight the visitor; Connemara Pony shows, Omey Island Races, Clifden Arts Festival, Killary Mussel Festival and many many more provide for a great day out.
