Our Story
Note from the Bride and Groom
Nursing School. 2015. A Pink Stethoscope. These are the contributing factors that started Mike and Eli’s story.
In nursing school, Mike would sit behind Eli every day at school with little to no interaction. However, this all changed one semester when destiny decided to take matters into her own hands during a rotation they had in the hospital together. Mike would continuously ask Eli to borrow her stethoscope. Eli would occasional ask herself, “why would Mike want to borrow a low quality stethoscope?” Did we mention it was pink? Surely, the guys in the rotation would be able to lend him one that was better suited for him. Nevertheless, this led to many conversations and a one of a kind friendship. The friendship blossomed when Mike tricked Eli with a “quick, on-the-go bite to eat” which turned into a sushi and a movie date. The rest is history!
