Samuel and Josie are getting married

Sam and Josie met unexpectedly on a Saturday night in February of 2018. Despite that the two went to the same High School and had a handful of the same friends, the couple didn’t meet until they had both graduated from college and were already in the “real world.” Shortly after the two were introduced Josie slid into Sam’s DMs, which soon turned into the exchange of phone numbers. Two weeks after meeting, Sam and Josie decided to hangout for the first time. They spent hours talking, getting to know each other and laughing.

Fast forward a few months and the two were inseparable. By August of 2018, they both knew what they shared was special and they wanted to make it last forever. In September, they rescued their first fur baby, Luna. Josie met Sam’s family and vice versa. They traveled, spent their first holidays together, adopted their second fur baby, Lincoln, and looked forward to all the adventures they knew they would have together.

Now, they are engaged!! YAY!

Sam asked Josie to marry him at the Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City. Josie had been wanting to have a picnic for a few weeks so when Sam offered to sit in the Oklahoma sunshine and eat dinner, she was thrilled! They had drinks before then ordered their favorite burgers to- go, grabbed a blanket and headed to the park to eat. Once they finished eating, they were listening to music and Sam asked Josie to change the song. While she was looking down, HE GOT ON ONE KNEE! It was intimate, magical and perfect!

They are over the moon excited to share their love with their friends and family in Mexico in June of 2021.
