In Jan Thiel Village, within 15 minutes from Willemstad and 30 minutes from the airport, you will find Papagayo Beach & Lounge Resort where you can stay in your own, tropical luxury villa. The villas are furnished with attention to comfort and the surroundings are used to their full advantage. The villas have two air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms with hot water, shower, toilet, hairdryer and other amenities. Through a unique wooden sliding wall system you can expand your living room with your own porch. All Papagayo villas have a fully equipped open-plan kitchen fitted with modern appliances such as a dishwasher and a microwave oven. Of course the villas also have flat screen cable television, telephone, free Wi-Fi internet and 220V electricity.

Further facilities on the resort include a swimming pool with lounge terrace, specialty restaurant, car rental, and washer/dryer. Just across the street of the Resort you will find Papagayo Beach Plaza with Papagayo Beachclub (free entrance for guests), Fitness Center (also with free entrance for guests), Laman Spa & Wellness, Diamond Beach Casino, bars, several restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

At the center of the Papagayo Beach & Lounge Resort you will find our Speciality Restaurant. Our chef dedicates himself to a wealth of international dishes. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Papagayo has built up a very good reputation across the island.

Breakfast - In the morning, Papagayo will be ready to serve you the a la carte breakfast. Papagayo only uses fresh products and has its own bakery, offering you the luxury of fresh, warm, home-baked bread. You can use the bakery service to have fresh bread delivered to your villa. 

Lunch - Papagayo also serves lunch or, if preferred, just a nice cool drink, at the swimming pool. The lunch menu also fits in seamlessly with the quality Papagayo Beach & Lounge Resort aspires to.

Dinner - Dinner at Papagayo Speciality Restaurant is an experience, but if you prefer dining with your own crowd, this is certainly possible. You can make your selection from the menu and have the relevant dishes delivered to your villa.

Kids Corner - Next to the paddling pool, in the shade of the green gardens, is the Kids Corner. This contains a mini amphitheatre and playground equipment for children of all ages. In the Kids Corner, your children are in good hands.

During the (Dutch) school holidays they offer free Kids Club evenings. On those evenings, parents can go for dinner or an evening out while the staff of the nanny service will look after the kids and do crafting activities, singing or watch a movie with them. These evenings are regularly attended by staff of the diving school or Dolphin Academy, who will explain to the children what they do and provide them with basic training.

If your holiday is outside the regulair school holidays but you do wish to enjoy an evening out, you can ask the reception to arrange for the nanny service to look after your children.

In a Royal Suite Villa – basic colors: white with many wooden accents - you will find four bedrooms and several bathrooms. Everything in the Royal Suite Villas has been designed according to the highest possible standards, and the rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences.

In the heart of the villa you will find a very luxurious, spacious living room with a large, open-plan kitchen, and a sublime view to boot.
